Aims and scope

The journal features articles, covering new scientific results in the areas of fundamental and applied research and corresponding to the area of biological sciences.

The journal publishes articles of theoretical, methodical and applied character containing original research material of an author (coauthors), not edited anywhere before.

Themes: Anatomy and morphology of plants, Taxonomy of plants, Flora studying, Geobotany, Physiology and Biochemistry of plants, Biotechnology of plants; possible publication of materials in rubrics «Chronicle», «Critics and bibliography», «Book review».

The publication is free for authors.

The total volume of an article shouldn’t exceed 10 pages prepared according to the accepted rules. Theoretical survey and debatable articles of bigger volume are published in coordination with the Editorial team.

The materials presented to edition can’t be published in other editions before or directed to other editions for publication at the same time.
Manuscripts which came to edition pass reviewing. The editorial board can reject the materials, which aren’t relevant to the themes of the journal, corresponding to the level of publications in the reviewed scientific journals, the works issued without observance of rules for authors of the journal or return them to completion. The editorial board can recommend to authors scientific, stylistic, technical editing of manuscripts. Responsibility for actual data, represented by authors of the materials, is assigned to authors. The Russian and English-language texts of articles undergo a correction. The total variant of articles is sent to authors for coordination.

Open access policy

This is an open access journal, which means that all its content is freely available without charge to the users or their institutions. The users are allowed to read, download, distribute, copy, print, search, or link to the full texts of the papers, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking for preliminary permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the BOAI definition of Open Access.

The electronic journal «Diversity of plant world» is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communication. Registration Certificate ЭЛ № ФС 77-76536, 9 August 2019.

The journal is in National Scientific electronic library (eLIBRARY.RU) — main executor of the project on creation of the Russian index of scientific citation (RISC), contract number 493-08/2013 with «eLIBRARY.RU».

The journal is included in international abstract database Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory (USA).

Reviewing of articles

All articles submitted for publication to the journal are a subject to blind peer reviewing and screening for plagiarism.

The reviewing procedure is organized by the editorial board of the journal. The reviews are kept in the publishing office of the journal for 5 years.

The editorial board sends the authors of the articles reviews copies with remarks for correcting or a motivated refusal.

The decision to publish an article is made on the basis of the reviewing procedure.

The journal uses Open Journal Systems 3.0.2, which is a publishing software and open source journal management developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project under the GNU General Public License.
